Welcome to Beachy Stitches, our virtual classroom where creativity meets community. This is a space for inspiration, skill-building, and connection—centered around our shared love of the beach and ocean.
Twice a year, we host special community events inspired by coastal themes, designed to bring quilters together from near and far. Beachy Stitches is hosted by three experienced quilters and designers—Beachdreams Studio, Just Beachy Studio, and Sew Beachy Quilts—who are excited to share their creativity, friendship, and love of beach-inspired quilting with you.

Meet Teresa
So happy to meet you! If you love bright, sunny colors, scrappy quilts, and a splash of the unexpected, you’re in the right place. From our little Florida beach, my husband and quilting partner Stephen and I create Beachdreams Quilting, inspired by salt air, ocean vibes, and 17 years of beach-themed quilt design. I love helping scrappy quilters explore fun, funky techniques, build creative confidence, and transform fabric scraps into bold, joyful quilts filled with bling, zing, and personality.
Meet Toni
Hi, I’m Toni! I started quilting in 1998 and have worked in the quilt industry since 2007. I’ve taught thousands of students, designed modern quilt patterns, and built a welcoming online quilting community. Whether in the classroom or on camera, I love helping quilters grow with confidence and creativity.
Meet Jody
Hi! I’m Jody Sterling, a quilter of over 25 years who began quilting while raising three daughters and now happily quilts for four granddaughters. After retiring from a career in office management within law and education, I now design quilt patterns full time. I love geometric designs, aqua and coral palettes, and creating beginner-friendly patterns. With a strong background in proofreading and editing, I also offer quilt pattern technical editing services, combining attention to detail with a love for clear, well-written patterns.
